The Client

The Wellbeing Business is known for its experience of working with both large corporations and dynamic start-ups. With a medical-orientated background, The Wellbeing Business delivers wellbeing strategies to HR teams, as well as presentations and workshops to individuals and companies looking to increase their wellbeing offering.

The Problem

The Wellbeing Business instructed Goose Bay to completely re-brand their business look and feel. Having realised that clients were having trouble finding out exactly what the business offered, as well as not being able to easily book onto relevant courses and events, the current company had become outdated and not reflective of the brilliant services available.

Whilst re-designing her business’ branding, Zoe Eccleston, Director, wanted to take the opportunity to launch a new website to encompass the new design. The Wellbeing Business also instructed Goose Bay to deliver copywriting services as part of the new website overhaul.

The Solution

Following a dive into the company’s business strategy, customer base and current website problems, we worked with Zoe to determine exactly how she wanted her customers to feel when they saw her branding, and subsequently what routes she wanted them to take when visiting her website. In addition to this we carried out our own research and spoke to her clients’ drivers and what they would look for when procuring wellbeing services.

Goose Bay delivered several branding options, considering the nature of The Wellbeing Business and the feeling Zoe wanted customers to leave with after engaging with her business. Taking the time to understand the client’s objectives, and the subliminal messaging they wanted to emit through design and branding, Goose Bay came up with a final design concepts which challenged all the current problems.

Goose Bay built a simple but practical website designed to minimise the click rate for customers who were looking for specific products or services. During the development stage we had found that customers found it difficult to reach parts of the website in under 2 clicks, so we prioritised the route options whilst still building an informative and detailed website. Taking all the written content from the previous site, Goose Bay carried out a detailed content review before creating a first mock-up of the site, complete with the chosen branding. The new content was streamlined, making sure to articulate the key messages in an informal and informative manner.

Once the final website design and content was agreed with the client, we carried out the re-hosting process and domain transfer from the previous site host, removing the hassle of Zoe doing this herself.

Handing over full control to the client, we provided Zoe with a full suite of relevant login details, renewal dates and useful website editing tips which would remove her need for our involvement in the future.

The Results

Goose Bay delivered new branding, style sheets, updated content as well as a fully hosted website, within the required time and budget. As an extra service, we took control of all the hosting migration to a new website provider, removing the stress from the client.
